Lost Records : VFX Nature

On Lost Records, I work on some basics nature effects. Some used for the environement, some for cinematics, other for gameplay. Differents kind of birds, some wind trails, falling leaves, even snow flakes. The most specific and complicated effect was the dandelion one. We needed to have a dandelion with all its pistils that can be blown away. So I needed differents states that can be smoothly fade between each other. Static, bent by the blow but still on the stem, and flying in the air. It was reaaly fun to do.

I worked on the animated dandelion's pistils particle system with blowing behavior.

I worked on the wind trails particle system with optional along spline animation.

I worked on the fake birds modeling, vertex animation and particle system.

I worked on the snow flakes particle system with melting effect.

I worked on the birds particle system and behaviour script.
