Some tests I did in 2018 to prove my old skills on Unreal. Every effect was made with the material editor and Cascade. The cube sequence was created in one single system, it wasn't a proper way to work but it was fun and I didn't know how to use the sequencer back then. I wanted to make the kind of galaxy/neuron effect after seeing the Coral from Prey (2017) beacause I was so amazed by the texture used but wanted more animations The last effect is a simple fire with smoke made without using any flipbook texture. The animation was made with panning textures and distortion effect. I used Photoshop to create my textures and Blender for the meshes and to paint on the vertex color some data.
